Winnipeg 14, Sioux City 6 – Box Score The Winnipeg Goldeyes (33-35) rolled to a 14-6 win against the Sioux City Explorers in their first true home game at Shaw Park since September of 2019. The Explorers held the lead briefly as C Jacob Bockelie singled home CF Michael Lang in the top of the first but the Goldeyes took the lead in the home half with a three-run home run from 1B Kyle Martin (3-for-3) and never looked back. The lead ballooned to 12-1 after a six-run fifth inning that saw RBIs from CF Tyler Hill (3-for-6), SS Wes Darvill (4-for-6), RF Max Murphy (2-for-4) and Martin. Murphy also scored on a wild pitch to round out the rally. For the Explorers, 3B Jesus Grimaldo went 2-for-4 and 1B Carson McCurdy hit a two-run homer in the eighth.
