Milwaukee 5, Chicago 4 – Box Score The Milwaukee Milkmen (31-19) edged the Chicago Dogs 5-4 in game one of the three game series between the top two teams in North Division. Chicago (31-20) built an early lead as C Ryan Lidge (2-for-3) hit a two-run home run in the third and, in the fourth, CF Michael Crouse hit an RBI single and then scored on a sac fly from RF Danny Mars. A four-run fifth from the Milkmen tied things back up though. DH Tony Rosselli opened the rally with a solo home run and then SS Anibal Sierra tripled before scoring when CF Brett Vertigan (3-for-5) singled. LF Adam Brett Walker II (2-for-5) hit a base knock into to center field that allowed both Vertigan and 3B Logan Trowbridge to score.
