A pair of doubleheaders and a walk-off win highlighted a busy Sunday in the Frontier League. Catch up on every game’s highlights with a recap of each game here: The Sussex County Miners secured the series victory with a 4-3 win over the Tri-City ValleyCats. Martin Figueroa started the scoring for the Miners by crossing home on a wild pitch. Kaleo Johnson followed by singling home another run in the first, making it 2-0. The Miners scoring continued in the third, when Todd Frazier singled in two runs, extending the lead to four. This was Frazier’s last game with the Miners before he heads to the Tokyo Olympics to play with Team USA. Tri-City got on the board in the fifth, when Carson Maxwell launched a two-run home run.
