The Quebec Capitales today revealed their first signing of 2021 with the addition of starting pitcher Nick Economos. The 25-year-old pitcher signed with the Capitales after being coveted by several other Frontier League teams. The first acquisition of the new year is an important one for the team! Right-handed pitcher Nick Economos is a major addition for the Capitals, who can count on the starter to fit into the top of the rotation. Manager Patrick Scalabrini said he was fortunate to put the hook on a pitcher combining experience in a MLB organization as well as a desire to play in Quebec City. “He dominated in the High-A Florida State League in 2019.
