Fargo-Moorhead 5, Milwaukee 2 – Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks knocked off the Milwaukee Milkmen 5-2 on Friday night at Franklin Field. The RedHawks scored the game’s first runs in the top of the second when 2B Christian Ibarra (3-for-4) hit a two-run home run. DH Drew Ward followed with a lead-off home run in the third and CF Forrestt Allday added a solo shot in the fourth. RF Alex Boxwell (2-for-4) capped the fireworks show with a solo home run of his own in the sixth. For the Milkmen, both of their runs came in the bottom of the eighth inning when DH Jose Sermo reached on an error which allowed CF Brett Vertigan (2-for-4) to score and then Sermo scored in the next at-bat when 1B David Washington singled. Starting pitcher Tyler Pike went 7.1 innings and allowed one run on five hits while striking out eight batters.…
