UTICA, Mich. – Joe Kalafut and Anthony Flores each went 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs to lead the Eastside Diamond Hoppers (8-7) to a 10-3 win over the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers (6-10) on Sunday afternoon at Jimmy John’s Field.
Joe Burke went 3-for-5 on the afternoon with one RBI. Luke Drummond (1-2) picked up the win, tossing 4.0 innings, scattering one hit, allowing one run and striking out five.
For the Beavers, Chris Davis started the game out with a bang, hitting a home run. Luke Stephenson also hit a home run.
