The Trois-Rivières Eagles organization announces the return of Rémi Doucet as head coach of it’s Junior Elite training. He succeeds Alexandre Béland who resigned earlier last week for professional reasons. Doucet has won the title of coach of the year in the Quebec Elite Junior Baseball League four times, in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2015. Mike Lachance, involved with the Aigles AA de la Mauricie for eight years, is to him promoted to the post of general manager. “Rémi’s return to the top of our development pyramid is excellent news. He’s a great motivator and teacher. When we took off his sweater in the summer of 2017, I didn’t think I would see him in that chair again in the foreseeable future, “said the family’s general manager, René Martin.
