CF Omar Carrizales hit a two run home run for Kansas City and LF Casey Gillaspie also drove in two runners for the T-Bones. LF Sebastian Zawada led the Explorers going 3-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored, one home run, and three RBIs. RF James Hazelbaker (2-for-4) also drove in three runners for Sioux City. RHP Hunter Smith allowed two unearned runs in 2.2 innings of relief to earn the win.
