August 31 Recap Quebec 9, Ottawa 4 – Box Score Quebec scored five runs in the third inning to take a 6-1 lead and would go from there to defeat Ottawa by the score of 9-4. The Capitales pounded out 13 hits in the contest with eight batters in the lineup picking-up at least one. Quebec RF Jhalan Jackson led the way going 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs and five RBIs. Capitales 1B Zach Wilson had three hits, including a blast, along with a pair of runs and an RBI while SS Yordan Manduley (pictured) had two hits, two runs and an RBI. Quebec starting pitcher Karl Gelinas threw 6 2/3 innings of work and picked-up his second win of the year. Gelinas allowed four earned runs on 10 hits and fanned three batters.
