August 17 Recap Quebec 11, Trois-Rivieres 7 – Box Score Quebec scored four runs in the sixth inning to take a 10-7 lead and would go on from there to outlast Trois-Rivieres by the final of 11-7. This contest was a slugfest as both teams combined for 18 runs on 27 hits, 10 of which were for extra bases. The Capitales banged out 17 hits of their own and was led by the terrific day at the plate from 1B/2B TJ White (pictured). White went 4-for-6 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBIs. Quebec 3B Jesse Hodges also had a four-hit game with a run and an RBI while DH Stayler Hernandez collected three hits, three runs and an RBI. Capitales pitcher Reilly Hovis tossed two shutout innings of relief and grabbed his second victory. Hovis (2-0) allowed a hit and three walks while fanning two batters.…
