Thornhill, Ontario – Quebec Capitales INF T.J. White is the Can-Am League’s Batter of the Week for the week of July 22-28, as selected by PointStreak, the league’s official statistician. In six games, White hit .480 (12-for-25) with three doubles, a home run and 13 RBI as the Capitales went 3-3. The Las Vegas, Nev., native had multiple hits in four of the six contests. Most notably, he had seven RBI, the most in a single game by any Can-Am player this season, and a pair of doubles in his team’s 12-6 win over Rockland Friday. White was also 3-for-5 with three RBI in a 12-3 victory over Trois-Rivières Tuesday. After missing nearly six weeks of action due to injury, White has been a catalyst for the Capitales since his return July 13, hitting .393 in 14 games this month.
