July 25 Recap Photo Courtesy: Marc Lafleur, Ottawa Champions Ottawa 4, Rockland 2 – Box Score Center fielder Steve Brown (pictured) singled home 2B Maikol Gonzalez in the sixth inning to give Ottawa a 3-1 lead and that proved to be the difference in the game as the Champions defeated Rockland by a 4-2 score. Brown went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored to lead the way offensively for Ottawa. Champions LF/SS Malik Collymore and Gonzalez each chipped in a hit and a run while C Andy Mocahbee blasted a solo home run, his fourth of the season. In total, Ottawa had eight hits in the contest. Champions starting pitcher Jordan Kurokawa gave up two earned runs over seven innings of work and picked-up his first win of the season. Kurokawa (1-4) gave up two walks and five hits to go along with a strikeout. For the Boulders…
