July 17 Evening Recap Quebec 10, Trois-Rivieres 9 – Box Score Third baseman Jesse Hodges singled home PR David Salgueiro (pictured) with the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning as Quebec edged past Trois-Rivieres, 10-9. The Capitales had 15 hits in the game with four batters collecting at least two. Hodges led the way going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs. Quebec 1B Stayler Hernandez scored two runs in a 3-for-5 night while CF Tyson Gillies added a home run in four at-bats along with a pair of runs and two RBIs. Capitales pitcher Jonathan De Marte tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief and picked-up the victory. De Marte struck out one in the four batters that he faced. Designated hitter Taylor Brennan went 1-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs in the loss for the Aigles. …
