July 12 Recap Photo Courtesy: Quebec Capitales Quebec 13, New Jersey 1 (Game 1 – 7 Innings) – Box Score It was all Quebec in game one of a doubleheader with New Jersey as they coasted past the Jackals by a 13-1 final. After a scoreless first inning of play, the Capitales tallied 13 runs over the next three, including seven in the second, to win going away. Quebec had five batters with multi-hit games including LF Stayler Hernandez who went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and five RBIs. Capitales leadoff hitter David Salgueiro scored a run and drove in two in a 2-for-4 night while 1B Rian Kiniry and C Corey Bass each had two hits to go along with two runs and two RBIs.
