MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that St. Paul Saints’ OF Max Murphy has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 23, 2019. Murphy earned the award after posting a ridiculous .514/.525/1.189 line with six home runs, seven doubles and 14 RBIs over seven games this past week. If Murphy hadn’t homered entering the week, his six home runs would’ve put him tied for ninth on the league’s home run leaderboard. He currently has 12 home runs on the season to lead the league. Murphy is also 11th in the league in batting average (.320), tied for second in runs scored (28), tied for first in hits (47), tied for first in extra-base hits (23), third in RBIs (32) and first in slugging (.646).
