MINERS’ DUNCAN THROWS NO-HITTER IN WIN OVER JACKALS

June 13 Recap Photo Courtesy: Phil Hoops/Sussex County Miners Sussex County 3, New Jersey 0 – Box Score Sussex County RHP Frank Duncan was sensational tonight as he throws a no-hitter in the 3-0 win over New Jersey. Duncan’s no-no was the ninth in Can-Am League history and the first one since August 7, 2018 when Eduar Lopez of the Jackals accomplished the feat. The 27-year-old allowed only one base runner in the entire game and that was a two-out walk to New Jersey 1B Conrad Gregor in the first inning. Duncan threw 89 pitches, 59 for strikes, and struck out six batters. With the victory, the righty is now 2-2 on the season. Offensively for the Miners, SS Mikey Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a run scored while C Troy Dixon had a hit in three at-bats and plated a run. Sussex County scored all three of their runs in…
