TROIS-RIVIÈRES’ GLADU RETURNS TO NEW YORK

Dayton, Ohio — The contract of Trois-Rivières Aigles OF Raphaël Gladu has been purchased by the New York Mets organization, the Can-Am League announced on Monday. In 14 games with the Aigles, Gladu hit .294 with four doubles, six RBI and 14 runs. His two triples also tied him for the league lead. The Trois-Rivières native joined the Aigles after spending the previous two seasons in the Mets’ system, reaching as high as Single-A. He was a 14th-round choice by New York in the 2017 draft out of Louisiana Tech University. Gladu is one of 17 Can-Am League alumni currently in the affiliated minor leagues. View the complete list.
