SOLOMON EARNS SECOND PITCHER OF THE WEEK AWARD

MOORHEAD, MN- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks’ LHP Will Solomon (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 19. Solomon threw seven shutout innings in a 3-0 win against the Kansas City T-Bones on August 15 to earn his second Pitcher of the Week award. The crafty lefty gave up just three hits while walking two and striking out two in the start. Solomon won his first award for the week ending June 30. The Columbus Georgia native has spent his entire professional career with the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks after getting drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2016, but going unsigned. Since joining the RedHawks, Solomon has gone 20-14 with a 4.49 ERA.
