Kansas City 2, Sioux City 1 – Box Score The Kansas City T-Bones scored a pair of runs in the top of the ninth inning to claim a 2-1 win against the Sioux City Explorers. The Explorers broke the 0-0 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning when 3B Jose Sermo hit solo home run. In the top of the ninth, DH Alay Lago reached on an error to lead off the inning and eventually came around to tie the score. RF Logan Moon (2-for-3), who reached on a single, scored the game-winning run when SS Mason Davis doubled with two outs. In the bottom of the ninth, reliever Cody Winiarski came on to pitch and sat down the Explorers in order to close out the win and earn the save. Starting pitcher Tommy Collier (9-3) earned the win for tossing eight innings and allowing the one run on four hits while striking out four batters. Sioux Falls 2, Fargo-Moorhead 1 – Box Score The Sioux Falls Canaries topped the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 2-1 on Saturday evening at Sioux Falls Stadium.
