Gary SouthShore 2, Lincoln 1 (F/12)- Box Score The Gary SouthShore RailCats ended a 12-inning marathon with a walk-off home run on Tuesday. The RailCats made it 1-0 in the bottom of the first when Colin Willis stroked an RBI double. Gary SouthShore’s starter, Gabe Perez held the Lincoln Saltdogs scoreless through eight before turning the ball over to the bullpen. In the top of the ninth, the Saltdogs took advantage, tying the game with an RBI single Curt Smith. The game remained tied until Tillman Pugh hit a solo home run to end the game in the bottom of the 12th. Chicago 12, Fargo-Moorhead 7- Box Score The Chicago Dogs topped the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in a game that finished in 4 hours 26 minutes, just six minutes shy of tying the league’s record for longest nine-inning game. Kenny Wilson, Trey Vavra, and Stephen Perez all homered for the Dogs. Perez and Dalton Blaser both went 3-for-5 with three RBIs for Chicago. Devan Ahart went 4-for-5 at the plate for the RedHawks and Derrick Fox drove in three runners.
