Washington’s Dorminy and Joliet’s O’Sullivan Named Starters for 2018 All-Star Game

O’FALLON, MO. – One day before the 2018 Frontier League All-Star game, Experienced Teams Manager Mike Pinto of Southern Illinois and Rookie Teams Manager Gregg Langbehn of Washington have made their starting pitcher selections. Southern Illinois’ Mike Pinto has selected Left-Handed pitcher Thomas Dorminy #13 of the Washington Wild Things. Dorminy is in his first season with the Wild Things and has posted a 7-2 record through the first half to go along with a 1.94 earned run average. Dorminy a former 10th round selection by the San Diego Padres in 2014 is in his first season in the Frontier League after having spent the last four seasons between A and AA. Dorminy has a career record of 25-26 with a 3.76 earned run average. Dorminy has started 11 games this season throwing two shutouts, he has also posted 57 strikeouts over 69.1 innings. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to start the All-Star Game” Dorminy said. “There are a lot of talented players here and I’m just happy to be here.” The Spring Hill, Florida native and Faulkner University alum is appearing in his first All-Star game and will have the honor of starting against his Manager…
