SHOEMAKER CONTINUES TO HIT; EARNS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

FARGO, ND- The official statistician of the American Association, Pointstreak, has announced that St. Paul Saints’ 1B Brady Shoemaker(pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 24. Shoemaker put on a clinic this past week, hitting .433 with 10 RBIs. All Shoemaker has done since debuting in the American Association last season is hit. The former Chicago White Sox Draft Pick hit .318 for the Saints last season with 21 HRs, and this season he is batting .338 The Right Handed Slugger spent seven seasons in organization ball, splitting time between the White Sox and Marlins’ farm teams. Shoemaker has reached Triple-A three times in his career. In 2015 he hit .284 in 94 games with New Orleans Zephyrs of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).
