Winnipeg 2, Chicago 1- Box Score Kevin McGovern led the Winnipeg Goldeyes to a 2-1 win over the Chicago Dogs on Saturday. The Craft southpaw gave up just one run on three hits while striking out 14 in the affair. The 14 punchouts are a single-game high in the American Association this season. The Goldeyes scored both of their runs in the bottom of the fourth. The first came on a RBi double by Kevin Garcia to score Reggie Abercrombie who reached on a single before swiping second. In the next at bat, Josh Mazzola drove in Garcia with with a single to left field. Chicago scored their lone run in the top of the eighth on a sac fly by Matt Dean. Victor Capellan pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save. Fargo-Moorhead 3, Gary SouthShore 1- Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks gave the Gary SouthShore Railcats a dose of their own medicine in a 3-1 win on Saturday.
