JUNE 8 LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: Trois-Rivieres Aigles Trois-Rivieres 6, Quebec 5 (11 Innings) – Box Score Second baseman David Glaude’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th inning scored C Marcus Blackmon from third base and lifted Trois-Rivieres to a 6-5 walk-off win over Quebec. The Capitales had a 4-2 lead after six innings of play only to see the Aigles plate three runs in the seventh to grab a 5-4 advantage. Quebec came back with a run in the ninth to tie the contest at 5-5 and force extra innings. Trois-Rivieres 2B/RF Taylor Oldham went 2-for-5 with a run scored while LF Javier Herrera added a two-run home run in a 1-for-4 night. Aigles pitcher Angel Rincon tossed a scoreless inning of relief to pick-up his first victory of the season. For Quebec, SS Yordan Manduley had a solid night offensively going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI. Salina 8, Ottawa 6 – Box Score The Salina Stockade started off their 2018 series with the Can-Am League on a winning note as they downed the Ottawa Champions by an 8-6 score.
