Chicago 6, Winnipeg 5- Box Score The Chicago Dogs edged the Winnipeg Goldeyes 6-5 on Sunday. The Dogs scored their go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh. The inning went single, fielder’s choice, single to put runners on the corners. Craig Maddox came through with a game winning single to score Edwin Arroyo. Dalton Blaser hit the game’s only home run, a two-run shot that scored Maddox who reached earlier on a double. Jordan Ebert paced the Goldeyes, going 2-3 at the plate with two double and an RBI. Brandon Shimo was awarded the win after pitching a scoreless seventh and eighth. Kaohi Downing was awarded the save for pitching a scoreless ninth. Lincoln 16, Sioux Falls 5- Box Score The Lincoln Saltdogs batted their way to a 16-5 victory over the Sioux Falls Canaries on Sunday. The game was scoreless until the top of the third when Ricard Dashenko led off with a solo home run. The Saltdogs would go on to score a total of seven runs in the frame with three coming on an Angel Reyes home run. Sioux Falls scored two in the fourth and one in the fifth before cutting the deficit to two…
