MAY 28 LEAGUE RECAP Quebec 5, Rockland 2 – Box Score Quebec scored all five of their runs in the second inning and defeated Rockland by a 5-2 score. The Capitales plated their first two runs of the inning on back-to-back RBI doubles from RF Jordan Serena and 1B Lachlan Fontaine. Four batters later, 3B Brad Antchak drew a bases loaded walk to bring in the third run while the next hitter, SS Yordan Manduley, added a two-run single to drive in the final two. Eight of the nine batters in the Quebec lineup collected at least a hit. Manduley went 2-for-4 with two RBI while Serena and Fontaine each had a hit in four at-bats along with an RBI and a run scored. Capitales starter Karl Gelinas (pictured) gave up one earned run over six innings of work to notch his second victory. Gelinas gave up a walk and six hits while fanning four batters.
