Wichita 4, Texas 2- Box Score The Wichita Wingnuts’ pitching staff looked sharp on Sunday in a 4-2 win over the Texas AirHogs. Wingnuts’ starter Corbin Osburn, who was signed early in the day, allowed just one run on three hits while striking out three and walking two in his five innings of work. Wichita struck first, scoring one on an RBI groundout by Isaiah Aluko in the bottom of the second. The AirHogs tied the game in the next frame via a run scoring double-play. Abiel Nieves delivered the only hit for the Wingnuts in the bottom of the third, but it was a solo-home run that brought the score to 2-1. In the bottom of the fourth, Leo Vargas moved the game to 3-1 with a bases loaded RBI single. Wichita was shutout in the bottom of the fifth to end their scoring streak, but Aluko picked up his second RBI in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI triple to score John Nester, who reached on a walk.
