GRASSA PROMOTED TO TRIPLE-A INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE

Rich Grassa, an umpire in the Can-Am League during the 2012 season, has been promoted to the Triple-A International League from the Double-A Eastern League. Grassa attended the 2013 class at MiLB Umpire Training Academy where he was selected to work in the Minor Leagues. Since then he has umpired in the New York Penn, South Atlantic, Florida Instructional, Carolina, Arizona Instruction, and Eastern Leagues. Grassa has also taught at MiLB Umpire Training Academy (previously known as The Umpire School) since 2014.
