Lincoln 13, Winnipeg 0 (Game 2 – Series tied, 1-1) – Box It was all Lincoln in this game as the Saltdogs rolled out to a 12-0 lead after three innings of play and would go on from there to a 13-0 victory over Winnipeg. Lincoln pounded out 17 hits in the contest with five batters having multi-hit games. Saltdogs LF Brandon Jacobs had a tremendous night at the dish going 3-for-5 with a second inning grand slam, two runs scored and seven RBI. Lincoln DH Curt Smith went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI while 2B Cesar Valera added three hits in five at-bats and scored three times. Saltdogs starter Derek Gordon tossed seven shutout innings to earn his first win of the postseason. Gordon gave up a walk and four hits to go along with eight strikeouts. The series is now tied up at 1-1 and will head to Winnipeg for game three on Saturday night.
