Quebec scored in five of their six offensive half innings and breezed past the Jackals 9-2 in the first game of Monday’s doubleader. 3B Yurisbel Gracial (pictured) blasted two home runs, a solo shot in the first and a two-run long ball in the third. DH Balbino Fuenmayor also homered in the third for Quebec. Gracial finished with three hits and a team-high three RBI. Fuenmayor was one of three Capitales with two hits.Elsewhere, Rockland defeated Ottawa 5-2 in game one of a doubleheader. Game two was cancelled due to inclement weather. Lastly, Trois-Rivieres upended Sussex County 11-9 in 11 innings.
