Sioux Falls 12, St. Paul 8- Box Score The Sioux Falls Canaries held on to defeat the St. Paul Saints 12-8 on Monday. David Bergin (13), Jabari Henry (10) and Patrick Fiala (8) all hit home runs for the Canaries. Henry led the offensive charge, going 4-for-5 with six RBIs. Bergin and Fiala each went 2-for-4 while driving in two. Jake Esch (4-3) earned the win after striking out eight in eight shutout innings. The Saints scored all eight of their runs in the bottom of the ninth with three coming on a Jake Smith double, but the deficit proved to be too much. After the loss, the Saints fell into a tie with the Gary SouthShore RailCats in the North Division standings. Winnipeg 2, Gary SouthShore 1- Box Score The Winnipeg Goldeyes (36-45) defeated the Gary SouthShore Railcats (44-35) in a low scoring game on Monday. The RailCats scored their only run in the bottom of the first when Colin Willis hit an RBI single off Mitchell Lambson (8-3), who earned the win after going 8.2 innings.
